With a catalogue of infectious original songs, The City Fathers are a four-piece rock group who bring catchy indie and garage-revival rock to the stage. They are led by songwriter Zach Pretzer (lead vocals and guitar), Gage Markey (lead guitar and backing vocals), Brad Davis (drums), and Jeff Forbes (bass).
The City Fathers were formed in 2018 and are experienced musicians of the Memphis scene, having played the biggest stages in Memphis including the FedEx Forum, Lafayette's, Hernando's Hideaway, the Hi-Tone, Railgarten, The B-Side, Growler's, and many more iconic venues in the city. Upcoming shows, including Main stage of Cooper Young Festival on September 17, 2022.
